Bedwetter Pants

Bedwetter Pants from Mother-ease. There is a wide range of normal age for becoming dry overnight. It can vary from 2 and 1/2 years to early teens. Some studies have shown the following figures.

1 in 6 five year olds (5 in a class of 30 children), 1 in 14 seven year olds (2 in a class of 30 children), 1 in 20 ten year olds, and even 1 in 30 twelve to fouteen year olds (1 per average school class). Therefore neither you nor your child should feel in the least bit embarrassed about bedwetting. It is extremely common.

There are of course disposable bedwetter pants, but these can work out very expensive for long term use, about £4 to £5 per week. So we have a washable alternative. They are bulkier than disposable bedwetter pants, so I must warn you that your child may not like to wear them in the company of their friends. However, for normal night wear, most find them more comfy than disposables, and several weeks down the line, you will be making real money savings.

The bedwetter pants are a pull on design, no poppers or velcro, so they don't seem as nappy like, and the waterproof, but breathable layer, is incorporated, for easy use. Your child can easily pull these down and up at night, if they do wake up to go to the toilet. They are extremely absorbent, and have been made to hold a full bladder worth of urine.

They do take quite a while to dry, as they have a lot of layers of fabric, but since you'll only need one per night, this isn't usually a problem. Most people buy 2 or 3, to give a 2-3 day wash cycle. They are best washed at 40 degrees, to maintain the waterproofness of the cover part. Wash and dry inside out.

Please note these are intended for children aged 3 and over, not babies. The legs are likely to be to big for most babies, and you will get leaks.

As a very rough guide, XS will fit most 3-5 year olds, S about 5 to 8 or so, and M about 8 to 10. However, please call or e-mail if you have any queries, we can guide you on the sizing.
