Training Pants 

Bright Bots Training pants  

Bright Bots Training pants (although I prefer to call them wetness protectors or accident protectors). We have found these excellent "wetness protectors", which actually look more like real pants than anything else I've found up to now. They aren't suitable for catching a huge wee or overnight, but will catch and contain  small accidents for long enough for you to find a toilet and change them. In general you shouldn't expect a trainer pant to replace a nappy, they are really for children who are almost there, almost dry, but who just need a bit of protection from accidents. The child does need to know that they are doing the wee before you can move onto these. These pants are good for sending your child to nursery or playgroup, if  they aren't quite reliable yet about asking for the toilet in time. Once the child has told you they have wet themselves, you should change them as soon as possible, as these will only hold the wee for a few minutes before leaking around the legs. 

The pants are 65% cotton/35% polyester stretch terry (loops on the inside, so they look like real pants outside), with a hidden PVC waterproof layer and a foam soaker. They wash nicely, and because the price is so reasonable, you can afford to buy a few more of these than most others on the market. They come in bright  bold colours, in general we will send a mix suitable for boy or girl, so please state which you prefer. My size guide is very approximate, and is based more on the size of the child than age, as most children need these around 2-3 years anyway.

We can exchange sizes on unused/unwashed pants, so please make sure that your child has just been to the toilet before trying these on, and please try them on over a pair of normal pants for good hygiene. The pants will need washing 2 or 3 times like normal cloth nappies before the first use. Do not use fabric conditioner.
