Flat Cloth Nappies
Flat cloth nappies are the most economical of the cloth nappies, but are by no means any less effective for this. They are a two part system requiring the cloth nappy and a separate cover. They are quick to dry, terries can dry in an hour on a warm day on the line, and can be put on the radiator in the winter, so are ideal for families with no tumble dryer. All flat cloth nappies are versatile, they can be used for all sorts of other things such as general mopping up of posseting, runny noses, dribbles, to lay baby on at change time, and once baby has finished with them as cloth nappies, they are great in all sorts of ways around the house, and even give a great shine to the car. You could be using these for very many years, and in fact our 22 year old terries are still in use in various ways around the house after having been through 4 children first. Muslin cloth nappies are not as durable as this, being thinner, but they are so versatile, they are almost essential for any family with a baby. Being less bulky, they make excellent first newborn nappies, and later they can be folded to make night time boosters in the normal nappy. Once you have a pack of muslins, you shouldn't need to buy any boosters later. You will need around 20 nappies for full time use based on washing every other day ( a little less often when in toddlerhood), but as these are so cheap, you may like to have a few more for other uses, as stated above.
You can use almost any cover you like with these nappies if pinned or fixed on with Nappy Nippas. If using them unpinned, then wraps with a gusset design are usually best. Note that solids tend to get onto the covers more often with flat nappies, especially pad style folds, so you may need a few more covers in circulation if you plan on using your nappies this way. On average plan to have 4-5 wraps per size, may be 6 in the first size.
The flat nappies we stock are below. If you need information on folding, follow the link below each cloth nappy below, or follow the link on the lower menu to the left. All Flat cloth nappies can be washed regularly at 60 degrees, and even at 90 degrees if you wish, although please bear in mind that regular 90 degree washing may shorten the life of your nappies and isn't very earth friendly. All of these cloth nappies can also be ironed. Not recommended or necessary in the UK, but important if you are planning to travel overseas to certain hot countries (mostly in Africa I believe, where some parasites can infest clothing). Tie on cloth nappies are a favourite for families living in very hot countries.~~~310~326~~

Dolly Nappies
Now that Mummy is choosing lovely soft cotton nappies for the new addition to the family, it makes sense for your older children to want the same for their dolls. Not only that, it will save you a fair amount of money on special "Baby Born" dolly disposables (or newborn disposables as some people use). Your child will also enjoy washing the nappies along with the dolls other clothing and hanging them out to dry. this has been a favourite activity for all my children.Fits Baby Born doll, although it also fits Tiny tears and other dolls up to 43 cm high.
